First step in joining is to
print and mail the application along with the $100 application fee.
Your name will be posted at the club for 2 weeks. Shortly thereafter,
you will be contacted by our membership committee chairman who will
arrainge a membership interview.
At the membership interview, the membership committee will go over the
general facts, talk about the club, and answer any questions you may
have.
After the membership interview, you will come to a second meeting with
the board of directors. At this meeting, the directors will ask you a few questions about the
general facts, talk about the club, and answer any questions you may
have.
During this board of directors meeting, the board will vote to accept
the applicants. If accepted, all fee's and dues will be paid at this
meeting and your probationary membership in the Newton Yacht Club
will begin.
